Website Purchases
We utilize Paddle.com for payment processing when you make purchases on vertofile.com. Your payment information is directly submitted to Paddle and is governed by their privacy policy. Upon a successful transaction, we create a license key and store it with your name, email, and purchase time on our server. License records are kept indefinitely to assist with license activations and provide support. To request deletion of your license information, please contact support@mail.vertofile.com.
Support Interactions
When you contact us for support, we collect your email address and any other information you choose to share. This information is used only to assist you with your support request. We keep support emails to: Provide quicker responses to future inquiries by referencing past conversations. Identify common support issues to improve our products. Usage Data
This app collects anonymous information such as app and OS versions, time spent in the app, and user preferences. This aggregated data helps us understand feature usage and general setting preferences, informing future app development. We analyze broad usage patterns and do not track individual user behavior or access information from your device's displays, cameras, or microphones. The collected data cannot be used to personally identify you.
Crash Logs
When the app encounters an error and closes unexpectedly, anonymous crash data is automatically gathered. This information, which includes details about the app's status, the operating system, and the device at the time of the failure, helps developers understand and resolve the underlying issues in future updates. Importantly, these crash logs do not contain any personal user data.
Update Checking
The application automatically checks for updates periodically, sending the app and OS versions to recommend the appropriate update. Upon opening, the app may also contact our server (the "soapbox") for news, such as important updates or bug workarounds. Soapbox requests transmit similar metadata to update checks and do not include any private data.
Logging
Our servers log metadata when you interact with them through a web browser or our app. This information includes your IP address (potentially revealing your general location), the requested resource, the software name and version (which might indicate your browser, operating system, and their settings), the request's success status, and the current date and time. We typically only review these logs for server malfunctions or suspected malicious activity. However, we may analyze aggregated data to understand broad trends, such as the number of app downloads or sources of unusually high network traffic. The following third-party vendor services are utilized: Paddle for payment processing functionalities. Supabase for database management purposes. Railway for server hosting infrastructure.
Data Not Collected
Data Not Transmitted (Except for Core Functionality): The app prioritizes user privacy. Unless explicitly required for its core functions at your request or as otherwise stated, the application does not transmit any private information.
